Nicholas and Susan Budd – New Brunswick
You are invited to Nicholas and Susan Budd’s farm!
They became chicken farmers through the New Brunswick Chicken Farmers’ new entrant program and got their first flock in 2017. Nicholas is a second generation farmer, and Nick has been farming for as long as he can remember! Susan and Nicholas have four children who are being taught the responsibilities and hard work that goes into farming at a young age. Nicholas was a participant in Chicken Farmers of Canada’s Young Farmers Program. This program gave him the opportunity to learn more about the sector and develop skills that he can use to take on leadership roles.
